Just a month after wildfires tore through the Santa Cruz Mountains, this couple eloped on a peak overlooking the still-smoldering Big Basin State Park. The resilient, redwood-filled forest was an unexpectedly beautiful backdrop for this intimate wedding. Exactly 10 years before their elopement, these two began their relationship in a college dorm room, not knowing where the next 10 years would take them. Their ceremony was full of gratitude, hope, and of course, a decade worth of inside jokes. After their mountaintop vows, they treated themselves to a private sushi dinner and watched the sun set over the Big Basin redwoods. I can't even imagine a more perfect way to celebrate such a timeless love.
