What happens when two Swedish artists elope in Big Sur? Well, magic, obviously. J & S own and run a creative video studio together in Sweden and when they started to plan their wedding, they realized they wanted it to be anything but ordinary.

Months of careful planning (courtesy of Weddings By Aimee) went into this fairy-tale ceremony, with adventure as a key part of their story. Big Sur has beauty beyond measure and these two aimed to explore it all on their wedding day.

Saša left Jackie a series of love notes throughout the forest, leading her to him and their dream ceremony underneath two conjoined redwood trees at the Post Ranch Inn. Saša's final note read, "Find me," at which point the violinist began to play the song that led Jackie down the aisle.

After the ceremony, they continued to wander through the forest and made their way to a rocky cove for a champagne toast (that went a little awry, as you'll see). I can't even begin to describe how much fun I had while photographing these two ambitious, creative souls! All I can say is, "Skål" to Saša & Jackie! You two are the absolute best!
